The role

About the Support Worker position

As a Support Worker, you will use your own experience of living and working in Israel to help fellow foreign workers who may be facing challenges, stress, or difficulties adjusting to life in a new country.

This is not a counseling or therapy position. Instead, you will provide practical guidance, emotional support, and encouragement to workers who need someone to talk to and someone who understands their situation.

You may speak with workers by phone or video call, listen to their concerns, share helpful information, and guide them toward useful services and resources. Your role is to help people feel supported, informed, and better prepared to navigate daily life in Israel.

Many foreign workers arrive in Israel without family, friends, or a support network. By sharing your knowledge and experience, you can help new workers adapt more easily, avoid common challenges, and build confidence in their new environment.

This position is flexible, meaningful, and ideal for people who enjoy helping others. It can be done as a second job during your free time and offers an opportunity to make a positive impact while earning additional income.
